まだ早いよな～～？と思いながらも、一足お先に行ってみました。
まずは【姫川源流から】

‘It’s still early～’ I thought as I put one foot forward.
First, from the banks of the Himekawa River.

まだまだ、雪が残っている箇所も多く、奥の方へ進むにつれてスニーカーでは歩きにくかった。それでも、手前の一部分では雪解けもかなり進んでおり、気の早い「福寿草」たちは咲き誇っていました。この冬、やっぱり雪が少なかったのだ・・・！と実感です。とはいえ、冒頭にもお伝えしたとおり、雪解けが早い部分は手前の方一部分です。来週以降には黄色の絨毯が見られるのかしら？乞うご期待！
次に【飯森ざぜん草】

There are still many areas covered with snow, and it’s difficult to walk in the interior parts in sneakers. Even still, the front side of the mountain’s snow continues to thaw, and pheasant’s eye flowers are blooming, if a little early. It’s apparent that this winter has really brought little snow…! Like I said from the outset, the part of the moutain that’s thawing out the fastest is the front side. I wonder if we’ll be able to see the yellow carpet of flowers from next week? Expect it soon!
Next is (Iimori zazen fauna)

こちらの雪解けは、思ったより進んでいました。木道もはっきりとあらわれていましたし。ただ、周回することは、姫川同様出来ませんでした。また、「ざぜん草」もほんのわずかです。写真では、雪が残る中央部分にちょこっと・・・？わかります。姫川より雪解けがすすんでいるものの、まだまだです。やはりピークはお祭りの頃かな？

春の花達は、気が付くと一斉に咲き誇り。気が付くと終わっていたりするものです。今はこんな感じですけど、お天気が続いたらどうなることやら。今日の白馬、午前中はちょっと冷えてましたけど、お昼すぎから春らしくなってきました。『うまスポ！』の美味しいパンをほおばりながら、お気に入りのワインなど飲みつつ河原でのんびり～～！今日も白馬三山の眺めが綺麗ですぅ～～！
時間があれば、また近いうちにご報告いたします。

This year’s snow thawing has advanced quicker than we thought. Forrest roads have clearly appeared…moreover, there are only a few ‘Zazen flowers’. In the photo there is only a little bit where the snow is left in the main part…Aside from the Himekawa River, it’s still early for ‘Zazen flowers’ to emerge. I suppose the peak is around the festival time?

If you notice, spring flowers bloom simultaneously. One also tends to notice them when they’ve finished. Right now it feels like this but if the weather continues I wonder what will happen? Today in Hakuba, mid-morning was a little chilly, and by midday it felt like spring. While chomping down on a delicious piece of bread from the ‘Yummy Spot’ suggestion, I relaxed on the banks of the river drinking my favourite wine! Today again the scene of Hakuba Sanyama Mountain looked picturesque. If I’m not too busy later I’ll report more soon for your reading pleasure.
