本日も晴ました！！
みなさんこんばんわ（＾o＾）
本日も、白馬は最高にお天気が良かったですよ。
お昼には、ジャケットがなくてもＯＫでした。
明日からは雪が降るようですが、今晩もあまり冷えこんでいないので良い雪は期待できません（＞＜。。
雨かもしれませんね（ｍｍ）。。。

Today was another perfect day in Hakuba, warm enough for me to leave my jacket at home at lunchtime.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow but this evening is not going to be particularly chilly so perhaps good snow is impossible...perhaps rain though? Hmm...

うまスポ=その1=（＾～＾）
日曜日は天気もよく､小鳥のさえずりも聞こえていました・・・すっかり春ですね｡
スキーなど､楽しまれて思いっきり汗をかいた後はやっぱり・・・温泉と美味しいもので体を潤したいものですよね｡白馬には隠れ家的存在のお店が多いんですよ。そこで､独断と偏見（笑）で白馬の”うまいものお勧めスポット”略して「うまスポ」をご紹介していく事にしましょう（＾＾）１回目はホテルから車で15分位のところにある【花彩（はないろ）】というジェラート屋さんです。手作りのジェラートは素材が口の中で息を吹き返したように広がって、本当に美味しいんです！かわいらしいログハウスの店内には毎日9種類のジェラートが並んでいます。夕方くらいになると売切れている商品もある位です。”きなこ”や”かぼちゃ”など体によさそうな素材を使ったジェラートが多くあるので一度足を運ぶ価値はありありですよ。
Sunday was another lovely day with the chirps of small birds coming through the trees. It really is springtime! After hitting the slopes and sweating with the enjoyment of skiing and boarding, the best thing to do is jump in the onsen and refresh your body with delicious items. Many shops in Hakuba are hidden gems. That said, allow us to suggest what we call 'Delicious suggestion spots' or 'Deli-spots'. One of these is 'Hana-iro', an Italian gelato shop about 15 minutes by car from Hakuba Tokyu Hotel.
If you allow the handmade gelato to circle the inside of your mouth, you can really taste its delicious ingredients! 9 different flavours are lined up daily in this cute log-cabbin-styled shop. When evening falls, all the gelato is usually gone. Healthy ingredients such as soybean and pumpkin are used in several of the gelato types on offer, so making your way to 'Hana-iro' is well worth the trip.

待望の雪です！
昨日、今日と『雪』が降っています。例年だと、「もう勘弁してください！」と思う昨日からの降雪ですが、今年は、何故か《ホッ！》としています。多分、白馬で頑張っている人達はそう思っている事でしょう。現在、白馬で進行している映画「銀色のシーズン」、こちらの撮影スタッフも喜んでいるに違いない。完成が楽しみです。実は、ホテルのガーデンも土が見えていました。やっぱり「春」は早いのか～～？、と思っていた矢先の雪です。

G・Wまで、白馬は楽しさ倍増！！！
Yesterday and today it snowed. Most years the snow could be forgiven for falling in such large quantities, as with snow come guests for skiing. So although the snow has been less than usual this year, everyone heaved a sigh of relief at the large dump that began yesterday. Perhaps those working hard in Hakuba thought as such. These days, there’s no doubt the staff working on the film ‘Gin Iro no Shiizun’ (‘Silver-coloured Season’, being filmed here currently) are also delighted at the recent snowfalls. We’re looking forward to catching that film when it’s released. Actually, the ground of the hotel’s garden can now be seen. Surprisingly it has snowed despite ‘Spring’ having seemingly come early this year?

With that said, those planning ‘Spring skiing’ or ‘Golden Week skiing’ should feel relieved – enjoying spring skiing around the ridges of this area of Nagano Prefecture is a must. Additionally, you can upgrade your enjoyment from more than just spring skiing. Skiing the slopes…flower festivals in the village…then relaxing in the hotel’s hotsprings and enjoying our head chef’s ‘New Spring menu’ from April. Can’t wait for the doubled fun of Golden Week in Hakuba!

ハイ、チーズ（＾＾）ｖ
今の白馬は最高の雪質・最高のスキーレッスン日和ですよ！
この写真は、今シーズン2度目のレッスンを受けに来て頂いた時お客様とご一緒にお取りした写真です。
私、東急スキーチャンピオンの大ファン？になって頂けたのでしょうか？？

Perfect snow quality for an excellent weather-blessed ski lesson!

I wonder if they became big fans of mine, the Tokyu Ski Champion that I am?!!
I present the evidence that they bought brand new skis exactly the same as mine (Ogasaka) that they must be fans of yours truly.
I was extremely chuffed!!
I guarantee they will absolutely improve their ski technique!!
Please come again – let’s ski together again.
Tomorrow, as a final objective, I’m heading to Naeba for the national champs.

全日本スキー技術選結果報告！！
その前に・・応援してくださったお客様、ホテルスタッフ本当に有難うございました。皆様のおかげで夢の舞台にまた立つことができ感謝しています。
さて、自信満々だった全日本ですが・・・完敗でした。
苗場の７０ｃｍも積もる大雪と、独特な雰囲気にまともに調整も出来ず、今年取り組んできた板の抜けを出す技術（内容は秘密）を大会前に試すことが出来ませんでした。結局、昨年の滑りで大会に臨む事にし、結果は当然自分を出し切れなかった私に点数が出るわけも無く・・・。メンタル面の弱さを痛感しました（かなり凹んでます）。極限状態で力を発揮できる方法を誰か教えて下さ～い。
自信が有っただけに悔しい！本当に悔しい！！この悔しさがある以上、まだまだ伸びます、頑張ります！！
今後も応援よろしくお願いします。

I’m ever grateful for everyone’s help in setting the scene like a dream.
That said, I was completely full of confidence when I entered the National Champs but...I was completely defeated.
With Mount Naeba’s 70cm of heavy snow, coupled with the unique snow quality, I couldn’t adjust to the conditions, and wasn’t able to test out my new skis and equipment (the contents of which are a secret...) before the race.
After all, I was faced with the same thing as last year in which I couldn’t perform well, not being able to put forth my best ability.
When I realized my mental weakness, I felt quite down.
Someone please teach me how to show strength and endurance in extremely nerve wrecking situations.
If only I had more confidence! If only! On top of this regret I will grow, and FIGHT!!

It's ‘Reliance upon Spring’ time.
It looks like we can still ski until Golden Week in May. Skiing whilst bathing in Spring’s sunshine is the duck’s nuts! However, because some areas of the slopes are a little dangerous right about now, it’s not possible to ski the whole mountain as some runs are restricted
But this means you can still feel satisfied by enjoying skiing in the morning, then taking a leisurely stroll around Hakuba Village in this glorious Spring weather.

シャンプーのCMに出れそう！？
シャンプーのCMにあるような・・・
サラサラヘアーに憧れていたあの頃・・・
クセ毛のわたしにはとうてい無縁だと思っていました・・・
先日、馬油シャンプーを扱っている業者さんから、
新商品のサンプルをいただきまして、さっそくトライ！！
入浴後、「ドライヤー前に・ヘアトリートメント」を
ほんのちょっと髪全体になじませてから、
ドライヤーでいつものように乾かすだけ
・翌日・
朝起きて、ビックリ！！
いつもの寝クセがなおらなくて、泣きそうだったのですが、
髪がキレイにまとまってるじゃないですか～（（（゜ロ゜；））
それに、髪の広がりがなくなったせいか、
痩せた？なーんて言われてみたりして！？
まさかぁ～っと思うかとしれないですが・・・

The other day we received a new product sample from our current dealer of Bayu-shampoo. I tried it straight away!
After bathing, I followed the instructions:‘Before drying apply Hair Treatment’and worked just a little bit through my whole hair, then dried as per usual.
・The following day・
When I awoke I was AMAZED!
My usual pillow shaped hairstyle had been fixed and my hair was shiny and beautiful ;-)
On top of that, instead of being all over the place my hair was slimmed into a closer shape.
I was like ‘As if...’!
The difference is plain to see.

『春便り』生情報！ホテルロータリーで発見・・・
春の知らせ「福寿草」を発見です。
暖冬のおかげ？で「積雪」が少なかったホテルのロータリーにて見つけました。ホテルのガーデンも雪解けが進んでいます。里のほうでも同じペースで雪解けが進んでいきます。いよいよ『春の花たちの行進です！』
福寿草・ざぜん草と始まって、メインは「桜」ですよね？予想だと4月20日前後かな？白馬の村花「かたくり」は4月下旬かな？
次回の生情報をお待ちください。
Spring news! The ‘Pheasant’s Eye flower’ has arrived.
Thanks to a warm winter and not much fallen snow, we’ve discovered these flowers on the hotel entrance roundabout.
The hotel garden is continuing to thaw out. The village township is also thawing out at the same pace. At last, ‘The march of the Spring flowers!’
Pleasant’s Eyes and Zen grass have begun, and the main event of ‘Cherry blossoms’ is expected on April 20th. Will it be earlier or later? Katakuri flowers may bloom towards the end of April…

うまスポ＝その２＝
おまたせしました☆
うまスポ2回目の今回は､アットホームなパン屋さんのご紹介です（＾－＾）仲良しご夫妻が作られる、心のこもった無添加のパンはほんのりとした甘さが特徴。シフォンケーキのようにふわっふわっなパンや、ナッツとシナモンが香ばし～いパンなどバラエティ豊かなパンは売切必至です。ご紹介しました店｢パンの山｣は当ホテルから車で１５分位の名鉄別荘地内にあリ、オリンピック道路沿いの小さな看板が目印です。

The second ‘Yummy Spot’ for this blog is a homely bakery. Run by a lovely couple, the shop features sweet breads as its specialty. With chiffon-cake styled fluffiness and a variety of rich flavours such as nuts and cinnamon, it’s inevitable that this bakery’s goods always sell out. ‘Bread Mountain Bakery’ is located 15mins drive from the hotel just along the Olympic drive, with a small signpost marking its location.

ちょっと早い？確認してきました・・・！
まだ早いよな～～？と思いながらも、一足お先に行ってみました。
まずは【姫川源流から】
‘It’s still early～’ I thought as I put one foot forward.
First, from the banks of the Himekawa River.
まだまだ、雪が残っている箇所も多く、奥の方へ進むにつれてスニーカーでは歩きにくかった。それでも、手前の一部分では雪解けもかなり進んでおり、気の早い「福寿草」たちは咲き誇っていました。この冬、やっぱり雪が少なかったのだ・・・！と実感です。とはいえ、冒頭にもお伝えしたとおり、雪解けが早い部分は手前の方一部分です。来週以降には黄色の絨毯が見られるのかしら？乞うご期待！
次に【飯森ざぜん草】
There are still many areas covered with snow, and it’s difficult to walk in the interior parts in sneakers. Even still, the front side of the mountain’s snow continues to thaw, and pheasant’s eye flowers are blooming, if a little early. It’s apparent that this winter has really brought little snow…! Like I said from the outset, the part of the moutain that’s thawing out the fastest is the front side. I wonder if we’ll be able to see the yellow carpet of flowers from next week? Expect it soon!
Next is (Iimori zazen fauna)
こちらの雪解けは、思ったより進んでいました。木道もはっきりとあらわれていましたし。ただ、周回することは、姫川同様出来ませんでした。また、「ざぜん草」もほんのわずかです。写真では、雪が残る中央部分にちょこっと・・・？わかります。姫川より雪解けがすすんでいるものの、まだまだです。やはりピークはお祭りの頃かな？
春の花達は、気が付くと一斉に咲き誇り。気が付くと終わっていたりするものです。今はこんな感じですけど、お天気が続いたらどうなることやら。今日の白馬、午前中はちょっと冷えてましたけど、お昼すぎから春らしくなってきました。『うまスポ！』の美味しいパンをほおばりながら、お気に入りのワインなど飲みつつ河原でのんびり～～！今日も白馬三山の眺めが綺麗ですぅ～～！
時間があれば、また近いうちにご報告いたします。
This year’s snow thawing has advanced quicker than we thought. Forrest roads have clearly appeared…moreover, there are only a few ‘Zazen flowers’. In the photo there is only a little bit where the snow is left in the main part…Aside from the Himekawa River, it’s still early for ‘Zazen flowers’ to emerge. I suppose the peak is around the festival time?
If you notice, spring flowers bloom simultaneously. One also tends to notice them when they’ve finished. Right now it feels like this but if the weather continues I wonder what will happen? Today in Hakuba, mid-morning was a little chilly, and by midday it felt like spring. While chomping down on a delicious piece of bread from the ‘Yummy Spot’ suggestion, I relaxed on the banks of the river drinking my favourite wine! Today again the scene of Hakuba Sanyama Mountain looked picturesque. If I’m not too busy later I’ll report more soon for your reading pleasure.

悪天候の中がんばりました！！
「最近ほんとに天気が悪いんですよねー(m_m)。。。
雨・雨・雨、ゲレンデ上部は雨に近い雪・・・
そんな中、「うまくなりたい！スキー大好き！」ってかわいい男の子（写真）が、今シーズン12日目のプライベートレッスンを受けに来てくれました！！（＾o＾）/
マイペースな男の子（笑）ですがうまくなってきましたよ。
本人は気づいて無いでしょうが、実は最新カービング技術を
伝授し始めています（≧∀≦）
来シーズンまで忘れるな「指差し」だぞ！！
雪、天気はあまりよくないですが、上部はまだまだ雪はたっぷり。
春はコブの季節。コブがうまくなりたい方集れ！（＾∇＾）/

The weather these days really is bad…
Rain…rain…rain…the top of the slopes is rainy snow…
In the midst of this terrible weather, the little lad I took out on the 12th private lesson of the season (see photo) exclaimed ‘I wanna get better! I love skiing!’.
Although he went at his own pace (haha) he really did improve.
He himself had no idea but he was using the very latest carving skis during the lesson!
Don’t forget to ‘point’ until next season okay!
The snow and weather isn’t very good but there’s still plenty of snow up top.
Spring is the season for bumps. Those who wanna get good at skiing bumps, gather round! I’ll teach you a secret technique for easily skiing bumps!
